Metra Problem

Would anyone know...I got installed a Kenwood DDX419 unit...with the Metra kit...When i left shop everything was working fine...I went straight to GM dealership to get oil leak problem done...They replaced the oil pan gasket...No reflashing of computer is done as far as i know...NOW...my steering wheel controls don't work...What do you guys think it is...

You can try unplugging the cables to the axxes black box, then reconnecting to re-teach the steering wheel control type?

Yeah that's what my guy said...Only thing it's at the back of the radio...Dash gotta be taken apart again...Sucks...

The dealership probably disconnected the battery prior to the service. As the Metra unit does not have non-volatile memory, the programing was lost. You need to follow the instructions in the Metra manual to reteach the unit your radio/swc combo.
