Low knocking/snapping noise from dashboard

Hey guys,

I have been hearing some sort of knocking/snapping noise lately from the dashboard (passenger side) when i am driving at low speeds..it goes away when i am at 65-70..Anybody knows what's going on??

Na man.. checked everything..took out all the stuff from the compartment.. still its making that noise

I have a tapping sound coming from that area too. Seams to only happen when it's cold outside.

I've been having the same problem. I narrowed mine down to the shifter area. If you hold and press down on the shifter it stops making the noise (at least for me).

You know thats very true.. i have observed it in winters only and that too when its really cold outside.. like something has contracted and its trying to expand..
