Hex Vents Installed

Just had to get over the fear of cutting the hood! Used a Dremel to cut the holes but it was battery powered and had to stop 3 times to let the battery charge . I knew I should have bought an extra battery!

congrats - I want these so bad but have to figure out some way to close them off from the top when the car is not being used. Too much tree debris in my lot that will over load the catch trays....ideas?

I just got them. I'm just skeptical of much can the trays hold if it rains. My garage door does not work . Therefore my car is always outside.

the trays don't hold the water, they catch it and drain in front of the engine. that's how I understand it - I haven't installed mine yet.

you are one brave guy for doing it yourself. I had mine installed on my previous SS by Steve himself because I knew I'd F something up really quick. lol

BTW, your car looks great.

I installed mine myself. I had to watch the install video several times to make sure I was doing it right. They do not drain unless you make a drain yourself. The pans just hold the water. I would think if you get more than a 1/2" of rain in one session the pans will hold that amount. Love mine and one of the best mods.
