Steering wheel controls
Ive got a pioneer double din on the way along with a dash kit and when I ordered the stereo they told me they (crutchfield) did not offer a steering wheel control adapter that is compatible. Do you guys know of anything out there that will work for me.
P.S. I think this forum is quite awesome!so much info. 2010 2SS |

SWI-PS According to manafacturer
866-931-8021 (toll free) Mon-Fri 9am-8pm e.s.t. Call them to verify if they tested it but they list it specific. Crutchfield has it. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIP...=detailed_info Crutchfield probably wont list it until they have tested it in house, love those guys. Does not work with car Does not work with your factory stereo I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you can get one that works.

Nfergy I got this one...
120993010S Chevy OEM Dash Adapter 10-Up Chevrolet Camaro E, I, DD That first number is a crutchfield number. I think it makes the dash look better IMO. I saw the same part on other sites for 399.99 and I got mine for 199. Crutchfield knocks 100 off if you buy the stereo from them. Hope this helps. |

I got my dash kit and new head unit in and installed. I think it looks great. Crutchfield said that they did not offer a steering wheel control adapter that would interface to the car, but the dash kit I got from Metra came with a interface that works with mine. Here are some pics... Before and After

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their factory stereo in a 5th gen. Alot of wiring but totally worth it.
