All I can add to that is Amen!! What a pleasure and honor to hang out with you guys!! We sure do have a great bunch of people... Regina, once again, THANK YOU!! Bruce and Jamie, you guys are the real deal! Mike, THANK YOU for bringing up my tires and stuff!! It's amazing for those of us who drove up from Treasure Coast; it rained in/out all the way up and back BUT we had a beautiful day of racing... As soon as I finished putting my street tires back on, it started raining just a little. Amazing.... Connie & I are looking forward to making this a "habit" every 6 months!

Def had fun. Nice event, thanks to all who put it together. Car did not run like it should have, it felt soft all day. 60' were ok but not where they normally are and it felt like it was falling on it's face the rest of the track. Guess it gives me something to do, time to track down what's going on.

Sorry I missed the event this time but at the young age of 51 I decided to go back to school and work on a masters degree. As such, I am always buried in homework and have very little time for anything else.

I am considering selling the 69 since I have no time to appreciate it. As you folks know, I have made several passes down the old 1/4 mile but the car was really built to be a long distance driver and cruiser. In fact, I completed 5 of the 7 legs of the Hot Rod Power Tour this year without any problems. It ran well even sitting in 100 deg weather during interstate traffic jams with the air on! It averged 19 mpg on the highway.

Anyway, I bought the car 10 years ago for $6k and now have about $40k invested. Most of the investment is in parts upgrading to the 95 LT1 drive train and restoring the interior and exterior. Finding the value is tough on a resto-rod. My initial thought is around $30k.

If anyone is interested, please PM me. I do not want to bootleg this thread but many of you know me and the car so I thought this is a good place to test the waters.
