According to this ECU store, it is a Bosch E69.

I read on a Caddy forum that the E69 falls under a family of ecu's labeled MED9.

are they looking for another test mule, discounted install or what? I'm in the South Suburbs of Chicago and would be interested in talking. I've been begging for performance upgrades for the V6.

I am sure for the cost of the package they would like your opinion. Lingenfelter buys there own factory vehicles, than perform the R&D work on them. One is being completed as we speak. Again, non of this is "new" to them as they have been working these motors for years. The body and chassis may be unique or new to the Camaro, but the motor and most of the drive train is not. I would suggest contacting Kevin or Tim on projected availability and options.

I spoke via e-mail to Kevin a few months ago about forced induction on a V6. I'll call or e-mail him to discuss what and when?
Thanks, Windy City

I wonder how cost effective this would be.

LPE, you have a winner there! that will draw a lot of business for LPE from the CTS and camaro V6 vehicles..

Very nice that you are a full service shop.
Not just the high end, but servicing the 'average joe' as well.

[QUOTE=Windy City;961899][FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="3"][COLOR="Red"]Like the friggen postman!

That is so weird. About 29 or 28 years ago, HOT ROD magazine ran an article about him building engines and shipping them around the country. First time I had ever heard of him. The article's title was something like that fifties song "Mr Postman" and sending me an engine.
I'd rather see a supercharger as I have the long tubes on my V6 now. But this is what I have been hoping to see.

I remember reading somewhere on the board about our stock trannys not being able to handle much more power than stock. Anybody have any more info on this? Especially on how it relates to adding a power adder such as this. What upgrades to the drivetrain would be necessary.

gm puts a rating on them just to be safe. its like the getrags standard in the ecotec lineup. gm rated them at about 40hp more than what they were setup with....but when boosted the tranny's were handling 400+hp.
