Washing my car but I noticed This before Washing

Does anyone have any info on what this white mark could be on my driver side door? And does anyone know how to fix it.

Dried wax? Some detailer mist may help.

Looks like wax buildup to me. I'd try some all purpose cleaner on a microfiber and if that doesn't work.... not kidding.. use a pencil eraser.

Kinda hard to tell from the pic.
A mentioned try APC and a microfiber towel.
Without looking at it, it kinda resembles CC failure?
How does it feel with your fingernail. Can you get it off?
Or it could just be a bad case of OPW (other peoples wax).

Sure looks like what the other's above stated; dried old wax you didn't get off. Wax over it, the fresh wax will dissolve the old dried up stuff. You might need to work at it a bit.

Definitely looks like wax.

I would be more concerned about those swirls in the paint and the three scuff marks on the door.

If its not wax, it looks like failing clear coat.

I had some Collinite I missed on the passenger side door crease on my silver 1LT I owned previously, only thing that took it off was some Ultimate compound and orange pad on a DA. stuff was baked on in the direct sun light for two days before I noticed it.
