You're not kidding. It's definitely expensive to shoot. I've been looking at bolt action rifles, and I think I'm going to stick to .308.

I need to get a reloading press so bad. My 700 is too expensive to shoot. .308 is what I should have gotten.

I didn't build one...bought a POF P308. Still can't find PMAGs for under $45.00!

Oh my
How do you like them? Which would you prefer? I kind of have been wanting an AR and I tend to never cheap out on anything so these are appealing...

That's a tough call. I think 7.62/.308 is a great battle weapon, and you can reach out further with it. 5.56/.223 is obviously everywhere, and is cheaper to shoot. What other weapons do you have?

Nada. I'm 17 and my 700 was my first one... Well for NSA my dad's first weapon he let's me borrow
I want a pistol or an AR next. Some reason I try to buy the unnecessary which is why I may end up with the 7.62 lol. But the idea of cheaper ammo for the 5.56 is appealing...

Not just cheaper ammo...cheaper weapon and cheaper magazines.

I chose POF, and really like them, but there are so many weapons to choose from in so many different price ranges. Do you have a budget in mind?
