Do you think I'll have the same issues running a 19x10 +40 on all 4 corners of a stock 2010 SS? I'd probably marry it up to a set of 275/45 or 285/45 tires.
I really like the look of the Vette wheels, but the best option I've found so far with minimal modifications would be the above size. Short of just buying the set and trying them on, I haven't really been able to find much info on the +40 offsets. Here's a link. http://shop.corvettemikemidwest.com/...-style-wheels/

I have 18X9.5 +40 Grand Sport wheels and Nitto NT05 295-45-18 tires. The section width is 11 1/4" and they touched the struts. 3mm spacers give me 1/8 inch clearance between the sidewall and the strut so that is effectively +37mm offset.
So to answer your question, it depends on the section width of the tire you are going to use mounted on a 10" wheel. My uneducated guesstimate is that a 10" +40 wheel will not work on the front. There is at least one thread about running square 19X10 wheels. Hope I helped. |
