Z/28 air intake on ZL1

Does anyone know if the air intake off the new Z/28 will fit on a ZL1?

No, it will not fit. CAI Inc and Roto-Fab both have ZL1 specific systems that produce amazing gains.

I would say yes and no. Without modification it is no. You should be able to use from the MAF sensor over with no problem, you would have to come up with a solution for going from the ZL1 Throttle Body to the Tube where the MAF sensor is. If you know someone with a 3D printer the distance looks short enough you could fab one that way.

You can see below that the problem is that the TB is in a different location and at a different angle compared to the Z28:

So now the question is do you feel like undertaking such a modification/fabrication? To me I don't think it would be worth it even before I had my K&N CAI on my ZL1.

Like mentioned above. The Z28 intake will not fit a ZL1 although it will probably fit an SS. We carry several intakes for the ZL1 with the Roto-Fab an CAI being the most popular.

The Z28 is also sump system, could be some other differences.

Go with roto fab, no need to use the Z28 CAI. The elbow is not the same, no SC on a Z28. If you try to modify yourself, it's going to throw a code. It may need a tune.
