Yeah check the sticky, I am the magnaflow with OBX headers, but with the MRT 1 I don't think it will help you. Yours will sound much different. The OBX's are very close to the BBK Lt's.

The MRTs are loud alone! Adding LTs may make my car louder hahaha....I read that somewhere so as long as they hold up and perform as good I might get the OBX....have you dyno'd your car? do u feel a power difference?

I have not read about any power difference among different LT brands. So they are made out of 304 stainless so I couldn't resist the price. They aren't ceramic coated like some but usually at 100 dollars more for that anyway. Some come with highflow cats which these do not, but that will affect those with emission concerns. So for the money you can't beat them in my opinion

it is to keep rasp and drone down. Both of these can be a bi-product of LT's. I wouldn't get it unless you have an issue. Many say the MRT systems are designed well to fight off rasp, but you won't know really until after the fact. Some people are more sensitive to rasp than drone than others too.

As OOLIE says, if you want a pretty good representation of what OBX + MRT would sound like, check out the sticky thread and view the BBK + MRT videos.
Speaking on the OBX headers, I've also read about them on an SS thread and in the particular thread I read they got good reviews and added very nice performance for the SS. Bmorecam is also running them and I don't think he has had any issues. It sure does seem like a great price...has me foaming at the mouth, but I also think if they had HFC like the BBKs they would be quite a bit closer in price.

I have't seen anybody on here complaining about the quality of OBX headers. If you absolutely have to have HFC's then look elsewhere. If not, then pull the trigger on them. They are a good deal.

The only thing I dont like about the obx is the way the small resonators connect that come with the system. They are slide in and band clamp type of connection which can be exposed to leak in the long run. I have no idea why obx only made the v6 version like this. The v8 version is the big mouth connection type like any other headers. It can be easily corrected by just welding the connection but something you might want to look into. Other than that I would get it again and I love it. It will def change the sound of your exhaust so you better have your exhaust plan prepared. good luck.

Mine just arrived today. They look to be pretty well put together. So far I don't see any flaws with them.
