The M1 Garand cost me $500 from the CMP, M1 Carbine I picked up at a local gun shop for $675, and I inherited the Arisaka from my grandfather who was a WW2 Pacific vet.

It has 10 round clip and also you can get a 20 round drum (OH MY GOD its fun) The "Protection" ammo is a short 12 gauge shell with a slug in front of buckshot. The guy at the gun shop said it would blow the door off a car a block away. I am waiting for one of those ricer flybys to try it out.... jk

that would be 10 round 'MAG" my friend..not clip!

Yeah, I've heard the horror stories...the G3A3 doesn't have an orange tip, I had to take an orange sharpie and clear tape and color in the tip of the barrel...I still don't use it outside because of that. Other than that, all the others are legal.

You were lucky to pick up that! I've been searching for some 9mm and .45 HP at a reasonable price, but all the stuff I find is $35 and up for a box of 20. got plenty of FMJ though. My kind of thread!!!

Both very very nice! Now I am a bit bias... but for a much lower price you can have most if not all of the same features in the XD.

Love shooting. Keep a couple in my room in case of emergencies. Target practice all the time, hunt when I can get off work. My dad is a cop and he collects all kinds. In fact, save the Springfield, we have every single rifle the allies used during WWII. Just recently he bought an authentic AK-47. Said "when the blue helmets show up I'll be able to kill them and take their ammo". True story.

we have some propane tanks down at the bend in the river, when you hit them they sound like a church bell

we also throw tennis balls in the river and shoot at those, when you hit it they will sometimes fly about a hundred feet in the air.
