2014 1LE floor jack issues

I have recently purchased a 2014 1LE with RS package and wanted to use wheel dollies for winter storage. Have read all the discussions regarding floor jacks and can't seem to find a ultra low profile jack thin enough or long enough to hit the frame in the front. Are the aftermarket pinch weld devices safe to jack the car up high enough for the dollies?Any floor jack recommendations?

I have a snap on floor jack that will easily slide under my drag car and its in the weeds so I know it will work. Hint though its made by Lincoln and is bound to be cheaper I bought it on promotion sale but they are the same
Hope this helps

Most of the low profile floor jacks should do it easily......just search on ebay for "low profile floor jack".

Or......racer's trick=drive the car up on 2X6s....then any floor jack should work.

Ooooo and those tires may be too wide for dollies.....

If it gets cold where you are its better to store the car on blocks....and put the wheels and tires in a temp controlled environment......living room or bedroom will do.....otherwise those tires will get hard and crack....eventually they will get hard and crack anyway, because that compound hardens over time, but keeping them warm will slow down the process.

O O O O

If you want the mobility of the dollies you can do what I do....
Remove the wheels....and put in warm place.

Get some concrete steps (12X12) from Home Depot and stack them on the dollies......and place under the frame points (4). Put a floor mat (or carpet) between the blocks and the frame to prevent scratching.

If you stack the blocks about 6 high it will give you enough room to get under the car for work or cleaning. And since the tires are off you can clean the wheel wells and the calipers as well......a clean car is a fast car.

Then while its on the dollies, you can still push it around....good dollies are easier to push around.

I thought I had the disease.....and then saw a see-thru trailer....does it have a glass bottom?

I use the jack on the pinch welds, but I use these blocks I purchased from a member here that protects the pinch welds.

Or how about time capsule. Is it a car or just something to look at? A poster would be cheaper

Try this one!!! I know, I know.....Harbor Freight is all crap.....but this is really a good floor jack!!! I have it, and I was really surprised, it works great. Minimum height is 2-5/8" and it is very long too!!!

Actually, I'm looking at the Harbor Freight 3-ton low profile jack, on sale on their website for $85.

Get two 6ft 2x8" from your local Home Depot or so. Cut one longer and one shorter out of each peice. Get some deck screws and screw DOWNWARD. And poof. Homemade Race Ramps. Which will give you plenty of room and cost 5-10$
