03 cobra how much hp??

ok i know this is an open ended question with a lot of variables. but i was out driving to the movies when i came up on 5 terminators out for a cruise. we were all at red light on a 3 lane road with no other cars around...question is this. what would one of these put out with bolt ons and normal upgrade stuff but with the stock eaton...lets say a tune, pulley down, exhaust etc. ? just curious

Anywhere from 420-470rwhp with a stock unported blower..just intake/exhaust/pulled is the norm.

Theirs a lot of variables though which is why I said 420-470.

they are slow , everyone one ive raced had way more hp then me and i walked them. dont know why but its seems to happen that way. ive ran a bunch too.

ive seen 2 kb ones pushing 625+ on both run low 11's like 11.4 was there best to date if i remember.

I wouldn't consider them slow. They are far from the easiest cars to drive and I blame the drivers.

After learning manual, I ran 12.9 @ 113 on street tires in a bone stock 03 Cobra Road Race suspension working against me after about 2 months of driving.

My roommate went 11.3 @ 121 in his 455 RWHP Pullied/Non-Ported 03 Cobra and a few years later took his 04 Cobra he just bought and went 11.4 @ 122 with the same mods and same exact HP.

Really depends on the driver. I've run guys in my Pullied Cobra making 600+ RWHP that should have walked all over me but were seeing my tail lights.

A well driven KB Cobra with some bolt-ons and supporting mods is a solid high 10 Second car.

hypothetically i would have walked away from him while his 4 termi buddies (none of which were stock) looked on...and that wouldve been with me (not a small dude) and my gf (small but big boobies ) in my car...at least based on the replies here lol.

nope cant agree there. it will take a cobra making more rwhp by a good chuck to pull a ls car. always has always will. they guys that im talkin about have cars that run in the 8's 9's and 10's . all stick cars so i think they car shift a gear or two. ive seen it to many times . even from a roll . my car n/a is door to door with cobras makin close to 100 more rwhp then mine from a roll. but u cant tell ford ppl that. but just go to just about any video and watch a ls car with less rwhp almost everytime pulls a cobra . unless its a huge amount of difference. now the 5.0 is a diff story they pull good everywhere

With a good driver though bone stock can 0-60 in 4.4 or so

With owning both, given the 5th gen camaro and cobra have equal horsepower the cobra will always pull.

Hmmm. You mention ford guys but display strong fanboyism yourself.

What is your n/a setup? What does your car run? This is news to me after owning a cobra and having been in hundreds of races. You make seem like cobras are slow but then mention the 5.0 pulls better. Yet, in my experience the cobra.and 5.0 are driver's races so that voids.your point.

By your logic, it will take a a 500 RWHP cobra to beat a stock 5TH gen SS. Do you agree with that? So you are saying it takes 600+ RWHP for a cobra to run 11's?

i ran 11s in my cobra with 460whp on stock wheels with drag radials.

U can put DR's on any car and cut a large chunk off the time just putting that out there.

Termi's are nasty little beasts though. I still prefer my old SLP 35th SS though.

Realistically anything within 1-2s of time is a drivers race.
