Radio upgrade

I would like to get people's input on what they have done to upgrade the radio. I have a 2011. I don't need better speakers or anything I just want a Bluetooth radio. I don't want to spend $1400 on a mylink upgrade. What have you used for a double din (I think its called). I found decent pricing on the housing for them but want an easy install on a decent head unit that is cost effective!

So what did that run you? About $700 all together? How was the install?

Yep, the P A C unit was $299 and Kenwood was around $400. The install was a too complicated for me because I also had a new 4 channel amp and a sub amp plus new speakers installed in the factory locations. I let the pros do it.

Does your AC system still work properly? I have an aftermarket head unit/kit and it has caused my AC to not switch to heating or change the location the air comes out of. Basically I can now only choose how much air comes out of the front facing vents...

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

$760.00, got it thru Crutchfield. Install was quite easy, didn't think it would be, took about 4 hours total. I had already replaced my stock speakers.

AC works just like it should, no problems. It's a very nice set up, I like not having the big knobs

i did the pac with a pioneer around for 650 you can add the mastro i data link to the pac kit. the install is hard for some the camaro dash kit is not the easiest no matter what kit or radio you go with,it is doable harder if you have the gauge pack on the console.i did mine but i was a installer in another lifetime and have done MANY radio upgrades in the past.if you have a few extra bucks i think i would have it done or go for it.
i went with this and am quite happy i also added a back up camera.

Bought the PAC Radio Package on Amazon for 495, comes with everything you need. Install is straight forward, its a 2 day job

If you purchase a non cd/dvd unit at about half the stereo depth, the wires all can sit directly behind stereo.
If you question how difficult the job is, please take it to a professional. It’s fairly easy but that is relative.

Did you ever get anything fixed on this? My ac quit working after I upgraded to the PAC head unit with the Grundig radio. Just curious if any fix For it.
