1:32 working in the dixie cap had me rollin...

3:45 with the Dungaree shirt...

4:10 gave me some chills seeing him in Khakis...

Awesome to see the Chevrolet connection your dad shared with ya. Watching the video it seems that he was a pretty important Chief who made a difference. (For those not Military just look at the awards and designations in the shadowbox towards the end).

Hit close to home a little. I lost my Dad a couple years ago from a stroke. He was 51. Navy as well.

Thank you for sharing....really special man you had there for a pops.

As always Ivan thanks for the kind words! Pops retired with 30 years as a Command Master Chief for the USN, he was a Vietnam Veteran and a 2 time recipient of the Purple Heart, only one is in the shadow box, i have the other one in my possession! He was Obsessed with Chevrolet and Camaro as a platform for Stock Car racing and finally relented when he moved to Sprint cars with a small block 350.

He was part of a very special group of Navy men in Vietnam called the River Rats who patrolled the Mekong Delta in Vietnam providing support for Navy Boats going in and out. He was the door gunner in the Georgia Girl pictured in the video. That particular Huey is a part of the Pensacola Aeronautical Museum. My father was able to go see it 1 month before he passed away when some surviving members from Vietnam heard he was sick and dying flew to his bedside and got him out one last time to reminisce at the museum together! I thought it was so awesome that they all are still close friends and they went out of their way to treat my father to a good ol' boys time one last time!

Yep! Chuck was one salty Sailor. Great video. I was cracking up at the under hood working in the cracker jacks. Man, that video made me feel like I know your dad. Very personal, and thanks for sharing.

Nicely done Tim. Your father would be so proud of his son for not only the things you have done since his passing, but most of all for the respect you have for him and the people around you!! Never let go of him--Fathers and Mothers come around only once in our lives. Just saying "I love YOU" every time you see or think of them means so much!! Again, great video....Kurt ABL99...
