Yes, I'd just remove the midpipes and measure it all but I'd rather pay a guy at that point. And I don't want to pay a guy.

I'll see what they say at the muffler shop. Just got my package in.

Well, you would think. lol

For a simple weld I got no problem. But that's all.
too much work? you make 4 total cuts... shift everything down by a few inches, then hook everything back up and tighten it down. then wire it up...

you've done more work than that.

I told ya, you bring the beer and I'll put them in for you

Dude, if you weren't 14 hours away I'd damn sure do that.

I'm getting to the point I don't really like crawling around under a low car on stands.

Remove tunnel brace = 4 bolts.

Remove X pipe section = 4 bolts.

Make 4 cuts.

Add 2 sleeve clamps.

Place X pipe back in = tighten 4 bolts (2 per sleeve clamp)

Place S pipes back to meet the x pipe location = 2 band clamp bolts.

Place tunnel brace = 4 bolts.

POW, got my room up front.

Bolt in the Y pipe to leave spot right behind the tranny brace.

Not a ton of work but on jack stands it SUCKS.

I'll check it out. Maybe I can borrow a guys lift.

its a lot of little stuff.

you could get a couple 2X12's, cut them into 12" squares, then once the car is already up on jackstands, raise it higher and put the jackstands on the 2X12"s.

tho I could see that ending badly.

you could always do the 4th gen trick of putting the car on a spare set of wheels to help get the car up higher

So I'm going to get my stripes painted on and front fascia re-painted and my rocker panel redone today and this weekend.

I have decided to just have him paint the stripes solid and add lettering with vinyl. This way I can change it later if I want to and it will still look great.

I will start with Russ's idea.
