Its actually a fairly thick plate (sticks out a little farther than the "CAMARO" lettering) with adhesive on the back to hold it on. The only problem I have had is that the one on the driver's side has started having the black paint flake off a little bit inside the eyes, but for $5 each they are pretty nice and I can easily touch them up if the peeling gets too bad. |

Just got mine! IBM 2SS M6. Only pic I have so far is from the dealer lot before it was striped, but the CGM stripes are going on tomorrow...

I think they look best with CGM stripes but that doesn't match the inside of my car... CGM does however match my wheels nicely... mine will stay naked for now...

Like anything aftermarket it is not perfect; much goes into the installation. The guy who did mine actually did a fabulous job, it took him 5 hours to apply. I have a little bit of distortion here and there but I also didn't let it sit out in the sun and bake as he asked me to initially. You really have to look for it to see it however I'm real picky. I know where every little squiggle is. That said none of my friends can see the imperfections and neither can my son who is as picky as I am. I paid dearly I think, right about $900 bucks to cover the entire front. I did not go up into the hood and have no regrets so far regarding that... I also only have 700 miles on my car so I can't speak to how well it's holding up as there simply are no issues. I don't drive it in rain, just sunny days only. I did wax the front and there is very little difference in the appearance. I can see it but it takes a bit of looking to find it if you don't know what to look for. Would I do it again? Absolutely, and probably would hit the areas behind the tires as well (over and above what the factory puts on behind the front fender).

 Took delivery of my '11 IBM 1LT today. The American Flag really makes this color shine :flag2: I'll likely be getting it tinted this weekend.

For those who have the beige interior what color stripes are you doing? Could not bring myself to do silver just thought it would clash. I honestly am seriously contemplating the extended black painted gloss.
