Please help....what tires on the front (new rims)

My new HRE rims have been sitting in the garage for 3wks while I wait for tires. They are 20x9 (35 offset) and 20x10 (41 offset). I was going to go with PZero 275/40/20 and 305/35/20, but I'm getting tired of waiting for the tire order to come in. Could I go with a 285/35/20 up front? I don't want the TPMS to freak out. Michelin doesn't make a 275/40/20, but they do make a 275/35/20....but then I'd need a tune to correct for my tire size, right?

I would check the Size calculator on those numbers. Stock tires are 28.7"dia and I believe with a 305/35/20 you are over a 29" especially with a 10"wide rim that that tire would range from 10-11"rim meaning it's designed for a 10.5"and would be taller at a 10 and shorter at 11. Make sense?
I'm ordering 22"x9"and 22"x10.5"and will be wrapped with 255/30 and 285/30. The tires are 28.4". Just a little shorter but allow for a suspension upgrade in the future. If you have an automatic then if the tire you purchase has over 1"differenc then you need it calbrated with a tune or dealer. This can change your shift points and cause issues in the tranny. But if your a manual then no worries but your speed may not be so accurate in the higher range above 70 as you go further. Compare your RPM's at a speed at 2Krpm and so forth'so you can get almost all the gears and write it down. Check again after you have the tires and see if it's the same or really close. But like I said there is a calculator on google and you imput the Metric sizes and it converts to Inches and be aware the tire dia will adjust on width.

Oh yeah and the TPMS doesn't know your wheel size. Just make sure the pressure is set accurately.

I have the same wheel sizes and close on the offsets. I'm going with nitto invos, 275/40s and 315/35's. They are exactly as stock diameter so no speedo or electronic worries and the backs run narrow so they are good on the 20x10 rims. They run about $1250 installed.
Another id Michelin super sports, 255/40 and 295/35 that work, shorter tire but close to eachother by .13" in diameter and speedo off about .5 mph is all. Best tire out there for performance and 300 treadwear. I would go that way but about $1700-1800 a set out the door.
