Final impressions: the Germans adequately represented the cars, but id like to see what they have to say behind the wheel of an m6. im glad they enjoyed our cars and our roads(even though most of us dont follow the posted speed). suffice to say, id love to take my baby to the autobahn if i didnt have to front the bill.

Not bad. They are right on the shifting for autos. Had the same problem with my c-5 vette. I don't seen to have that problem with the 6-speed cam.

Doubt he watched all 5 parts. If he did he would see that the guy "bashing" the vette also said he fell in love with it at the end.

The only bashing about all 3 cars was the electronics and auto. They said over and over again that european makers can learn a lot from us. They praised all three cars over and over again, minus the two bad points.

**** TAPshift dude. Ever noticed the delay? I'm not talking about the tuned automatics.

I test drove an L99 and used the tapshift, it confirmed that I wanted an LS3. Its not anything like the porsches tiptronic button shifters, but what can you expect the porsche is like 3x more

Don't get me wrong, I still like my automatic. Plus you can never miss a gear and that's one of the advantages. I will get my car tuned in the near future though.

I am still learning how to drive a manual, I have a month until my car comes in so I better learn quick!

That was awesome!!!

I think it is really cool you German dudes were enjoying the American muscle cars!!!

It would be fascinating to see you drive the Camaro on the Autobahn.

Also, I think when the Z28 comes out, you guys should come back to the U.S.A. and take it on a California trip. Drive it up to Lake Tahoe and to Yosemite and down the Pacific Coast Highway if you want to see some insane views. Also check out the Grand Canyon if you get a chance.

It does not surprise me that the German dudes liked the Camaro. When I drove the SS, it was definitely a muscle car, but it had a high-precision German-like feel in many ways.

Nice watches by the way!!!

Jake
