Suspension for 91 Firebird - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out. A friend of mine is swapping a 454 into his 91 Firebird, and hes trying to figure out what kind of suspension to put in it. He asked me, and i thought id ask you guys!

UMI -- however, he'll probably need a custom k-member for that big block.

UMI or BMR. I have a BMR k-member (along with everything else they make for these cars). Lots of header clearance. Not sure who would make big block springs for this generation, since it never came stock in that form.

Slogan makes everything for it too.
So do a not so well known company called founders performance. Founders is not as expensive as others but just as good.

Also if money is no object...global west makes excellent stuff.
With that engine...subframe connectors are a must if you wanna not twist the car into a pretzel .
