Questions for those with black wheels

Are your wheel weights black? If yes, did you order them? If yes, from where and which ones.

If your weights are silver does it detract fron the apperance since the wheels are black?

It is possible to buy a paint pen and paint them yourself if there is any detraction from appearance. Amazon.com

Or just drive for a week and the carbon from the Brembos fixed it for you for free.

Mine are black, but I don't think the silver would detract from it unless someone was really looking for it.

Mine are silver and you really can't tell unless your looking in the wheel. My opinion is it doesn't distract from the appearance at all. I thought the same thing[ at one time] about coloring them don't waste your time. I'm very OCD and if it doesn't bother me you have nothing to worry about.

silver weights on black wheels would totally stand out.

I get my black stick on weights from the local Harley Davidson dealer. They always have them in stock for the bikes. I don't think I would like the silver weights on my wheels. I spent too much on powdercoating and black lug nuts to skimp on the wheel weights.

Had a long talk with tire store... bottom line you need to paint them yourself.

I called the local chevy dealer and they don't sell or use black wheel weights. I was wondering since some of the Camaros and Corvettes have black wheels. I then went to the dealership to look at new Camaros and Corvettes with black wheels and they all have sliver wheel weights.

I have two sets of black wheels. Both sets have black wheel weights. The shops I use always use them. They also paint them when requested.

This might sound crazy, but I use a BLACK FINE POINT permanent sharpie & you do not even see the wheel weights. I have used the black sharpie on several sets of black wheels & have never had a problem!

Here's a photo of my 2010 2SS/RS with my new Satin Black BBS CH-R 19 in. wheels lowered TWO INCHES with Ride Tech HQ coil overs.

All The Best,
