Just another Black LS3 SS Camaro
I bought this black beauty on September, 5 2013. The car was a 1 owner vehicle with only 6,500 miles. A black Fully loaded 2SS/RS M6 with a sunroof was exactly what I was looking for. I've wanted this car since I seen the concept back in 06' and although I've had a few chances to buy a 'camaro' I didnt want to settle for anything less than a fully loaded SS and I didnt want to buy it until I could afford to mod it!!! so it begins, my new project is underway.

First few things I ordered: Black smooth bow ties, Black tail light bezels, tinted tails & side markers.
It took me a while to decide on wheels and Im still unsure if I made the right decision or not. I purchased a set of Savini 3 piece wheels. Model SV23-C, 22x9 front and 22x11 rear with Pirelli Pzero Nero tires 265/30/22, 315/25/22ATTACH]595234[/ATTACH] [ |

Meanwhile, I knew winter was coming up so no sense in mounting wheels and tires right now. I decided the suspension needed some work I wanted to do coil overs however I also didnt want to spend money on something and not use its full potential so decided to spend money else where for the moment. I purchased the Stage2 ZL spec suspension package from Pfadt Racing. The kit included ZL spec adjustable front/rear sway bars with endlinks and performance 1.25' drop springs. I also had to purchased the 2012+ rear lower control arm conversion kit from Pfadt since I have a 2011.
Oem Rear Sway bar Vs Pfadt ZL spec Rear Sway bar Oem springs, sway bars, end links, and rear LCA's looks better, and Im sure it'll handle better too Last edited by tonyG; 01-31-2014 at 09:55 PM. |

I finally got to take this beauty on a few turns after having the bushing reclocked (bush timing) and the alignment set to aggressive street Pfadt specs. Very impressed with the Pfadt Racing set up. Feels more like a sports car now! You can really feel the improvement with the sway bars.
