If money is an issue then either the 2011 BMW 135i or a used Volvo V70R (not as fast as the bmw but it is faster than a new v6 camaro)
If money is no issue then either import an Audi RS6 avant (the wagon) or the new ls3 Holden Maloo R8

I'm actually holding out for the Z28. However if the Camaro had never come about, I would have gone with either a CTS-V coupe, a Z06, or an Audi S5.

Challenger because Ford would have left the Mustang with the 2010 powertrains for a bit longer without the Camaro around and aside from that the Mustang's styling is a bit boring at this point IMO.
