MY 2011 SS DAILY DRIVER
I like to thank you for checking out my build. In july of 2013 I found my 2011 2SS/RS M6 Inferno Orange Metallic Camaro. It already had American Racing Headers, high flow cats and K&N air intake. It also had Bravado Americana Wheels and Nitto tires. I lost the pics of when i got the car, But these are after the Heritage Grille I put on.

So originally I figured with the exhaust and wheels done. I wasn't going to do much else. Well boy was i wrong lol. At first I just tinted the windows 5% and drove it. After about a month I added some leds in the grill and under the hood.
I also polished the throttle body and few other things under the hood. |

I pretty much just enjoyed the car for the rest of the summer. Then I found out how bad Nitto Invo tires are in the snow. So I bought four 50lb bags of sand and put them in the trunk and made it thru the winter somehow. The problem is I couldn't afford snow tires and my only other car is a 1993 Z28 Camaro that is not registered and a lot worst in the snow. I wound up actually selling the supercharger off my 93 and getting some stuff for my 2011. First up I got GM Dovetail Spoiler and Pro Custom Products RS Headlight Covers.

Next I got some fog light black outs, new SS emblem for the grill and flame stripes. I also took the car to a local dyno day at Tune Time Performance.

At this point the engine cover bothered me. It didn't really look like an engine to me. So I relocated the heater hoses and flipped the fuel rail. I also got Holley LS valve covers and painted them chevy orange with engine paint. While i had things apart I painted the fuse box cover, intake pipe and the positive post.

So still not happy with the way the engine looked. I had some time off work and decided to port the throttle body and intake, rewired some of the wiring on the coils and injectors. Then I painted the intake, relocated the evap solenoid and polished some more stuff. This took a lot of time and this is the only car in my household. Having it down is very hard I basically didn't sleep till the car ran again. I don't remember how long some of this stuff took to do but i do remember working something like 40 hours straight. with porting, painting and rewiring lol. Wife only had 2 days off and I needed the car running to drive her.

After some looking around I found the Transformer Autobot Edition front fascia grille decal and really like how it looked. I messed it up a little when putting it on but not realy noticable. Also got a new pulley for the belt tensioner and a new belt a little smaller because the pulley is a little smaller then stock.

I tried making one of those rad covers but didn't like how it came out so I scrapped it. I also painted the rear tail light bezels black and found a nice hideaway lic plate holder on Ebay.

I had been looking for a decal to match the flame stripes for a while and finally found some nice ones for the side of the car.
