I have a question for those who have installed the amp rack from ********, how well does the rack stay in place on the bottom?

I am interested in this unit and always turn to Steve to what I need but I wanted to get feedback from those who have this. I understand how this mounts but I am curious if it would have a potential to kick out under cornering as it mounts only at the top from what I can tell.

With the two top mounts in place, the amp rack will not move... and I drive like an asshole.

The sub on the other hand, while it does fit tight, I may need to mount. It keeps sliding out an inch or so up against the cargo net clips. I'll probably try giving it a good hard shove as much as I can before trying to find a mount.

i didn't use the rear bracket. i got two 2x4" velcro strips and used them to fasten the back of the board to the wheel well carpet.

I installed mine about 10 weeks ago & they forgot to include the amp rack mounting hardware. I just mounted a piece of metal I had laying around the garage (only 1 piece-toward the front of the car) & the rack stayed in place. I did finally install the proper mount once I received it, but in my opinion, it is pretty stable. Just my 2 cents.........

The amp rack I got from ******** has never moved. The large 12" sub box tends to kick out about a 1/4" at the corner where the thumb screws for the taillight panel are.

how is the quality of this piece? Im seriously thinking about getting one but want to make sure it is high quality and worth the money

Quality is great. You will have no issues in that department!

This is exactly my experience as well. The rack stays put, the sub does come out, one time I made a very spirited turn and it came all the way out LOL, I plan to lock it in some how as soon as it stops raining long enough.
