dash cam and window tint

So i've been shopping for a dash cam i can suction on so it can be moved between my two vehicles (my Camaro is the weekend car). Zero experience btw. Does anyone know if the suction cup won't stick to the window tint? If it doesn't stick what are my options?

Suction cups should still stick to window tint. Used to have my winshield tinted on my corvette and my radar detector stuck right to it.

My front windshield is tinted. I extended the mounting surface so i could use the two sided tape and mount to the fert. The front tint cost about $300.

I bought multiple mounts for my blackvue camera so I can easily move it from car to car to motorcycle.

Suction cup will stick to tint, I wouldn't do it though because it looks ugly on the outside lol.

300 to tint the windshield? Damn... I paid 100 to get it done in 50%

I don't remember what brand or material my tinter uses, I'll have to look next time I'm at the shop. I know he doesn't use cheap stuff.

70% is barely tint . More of a UV blocker.

Here's mine. 50% front, 18% rest

May I suggest the Falcon 360? It clips over the rear- view mirror (it IS a rear view mirror, in addition to a video viewing screen), so suction cups are of no concern. It can be easily moved from vehicle to vehicle.

I bought one... liked it so much that I bought another for my wife's vehicle. I've hard- wired both, but, if/ when I wish to drive a different vehicle, I can simply unclip and unplug the unit, and put it into any other vehicle. Of course, I need a portable power cord to use it in a different vehicle, so I emailed the company (Incredisonic) and asked them how much an additional cord would cost: They emailed me back, and said that they would just send me another, gratis... no charge!

The Falcon 360 has two lenses, so you get front and rear coverage. Does audio, too. Does NOT have GPS or shock sensor, though... and the owner's manual sort of sucks (you need to figure a lot of stuff out using intuition!). But, for $130, I think it's the best bang for the buck out there.
