2010 Camaro Lt1 w/19 inch alum VS 2008 Cadi CTS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well I hit a rough patch, I would LOVE to own the new camaro but I can also get a 2008 used Cadillac CTS with about 30k miles on it. Im not really sure what to pick. I know they both have the same engine but can anyone please give me some insight on what they think. Thanks in advance for the replys

Depends if you need a four door or not. if not i would get the camaro
if you do cts

I would get the ss over the cts, but the cts over the lt.

Sorry, but IMO that CTS looks, well, average. It doesn't pop at you. On the otherhand,
if the money is right and your getting the CTS for a smoking deal then that would be really
cool. Either way, you can't go wrong really. I just prefer a car that says "Hey, what up?"

Yea well me and my dad are thinking of both cars the cts' are going at a amazing price (used) but the first time i saw the camaro in transformers i though it was gonna be like 100k when it came out it just cought my eye i would personally have a camaro over a porshe if that was even a option. + on the other side im thinking that the CTS is popular in a 5 minute drive i see about 3, i never see a camaro. im leaning to the camaro camaroscotty sent me to Ann who has given me an amazing deal i dont think i can pass on.

it would depend on the options that the caddy had. i assume is the 3.6 DI, since you said they had the same engine, but if the caddy had a lot of options then i would probably go with it.

I want a camaro my dad wants a cts i love the camaro because u can mod it like crazy and if you mod the cts it just looks odd.

CAMARO. the only cts i'd own would be the cts-v.

I own both and both are great cars for different reasons. We take the CTS on long trips and to luxury gatherings, but we take the Camaro when we want to be sporty and cool for the night. I love them both, but if I had to choose just one I would take the Camaro!!

I had an '08 CTS 3.6 DI, it was a great car. The CTS is a nicer car than a Camaro, especially interior-wise. I liked it so much I bought an '09 CTS-V. I'd pick an SS over a CTS 3.6L, but I'd pick a CTS over a V6 Camaro.

No sports car enthusiast would take a CTS 3.6 l over a V6 Camaro. I understand the V6 is not the SS but according to Motortrend magazine the new Camaro V6 is getting its share of awards. I personally own both cars, but if one had to go it would be so-long CTS
