IF you don't like the flat/matte finish, THEN you may like clear/glossy.
IF you only want to protect a portion of your car, THEN you may.
EXPEL Ultimate is advertised and was discussed as being "self healing"
IF you don't want to waste any money on clear bra paint protection film
THEN don't ever buy any and risk getting your ZL1's paint chipped/nicked.

You decide what's cheapest and best for you.

I'm just saying...

Anyone hear of "VentureShield" ? Or has anyone used it?

It appears to be another brand name for 3M but I can't tell.

If you use the website http://xpel.com/ they have a dealer locator that you can use. It can also give ou some type of price for what you need done. My guy did stuff that wasn't listed in the kits, so you should be able to get whatever you want done.

I used to install it. It is a pretty good film but the Xpel Ultimate and Suntek films are much better... and have self healing top coats.

I am having Suntek installed tomorrow. I hear only good things.

For what it's worth I just had my car done with the XPEL and it came out very nice, but I don't have anything to compare it to.

Do you want the film nicked or the doorpaint?

I dropped it off in the evening around 5:30, and they were done by 1:00 the next day, I know that they worked on it that night so I'm not sure how long it actually took.
