Z28 vs ZL1 vs Pace Car... - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was holding out for a "Z28", which is now going to be the ZL1.
I am much more tempted to get a SS and SC at this point, will decide when I see the ZL1 pricing,
or if rumors of a Z28 model in between pan out.

On a side note, my wife is hoping for a convertible.
I really liked the pace car version,
but then saw pics with the top up.

What in the world is a black top doing on a white/orange car?
I could see a white top, but the black killed the looks/theme in my opinion.

Anyways,
my Z28/ZL1 hopes may be dashed by the wifes convertible desires.

I can see a red car with black stripes and top being very pleasing to the eye.

Although, I would like to see the old school choices in interior and top pop up like the old days, where you could have interiors and tops from white to black and any color in between.

Why don't you buy a 69 camaro convert that sounds like what you really want lol. But hold out and get the ZL1 man it will be worth it

dude . . . . thread jacking incoming. . . ZL1 is fugly. so fugly I just went with the SS, I can't / won't do that ricer front fascia. I'd rather SC my SS with suspension upgrades and solid driveshaft, hurst short throw etc. OH. . . they named it wrong too!
