Transmission Specialist Advice
Does anyone know of a good and reasonably priced transmission shop in the RI/ South East Mass area?
I have never needed work done on a transmission, so I don't know where I can go without being taken to the cleaners. My wife's 2004 Mercury Sable had a bad fly wheel. |

Try S&S transmission , I believe it's in Portsmouth or Middletown . They have a big shop and do good work .

Seems like a real hassle on this car lots of crap in the way. Its been plaguing us for a while we just need to bite the bullet and do it. I wouldn't want to I put anyone out but I really appreciate the offer though.

Thanks for offering guys I really appreciate the offer, but we settled on S and S transmission to do the job. While talking with the guy at the shop he explained everything pretty well and the job seems very involved and a real hassle. It doesn't seem like something that can be done easily in a few hours, they are planning on having the car for a few days. Not something I would expect friends to undertake.
