So after going through some of the DIY mod threads I came across the DIY dyed stitching. Gave it some thought and figured it would be nice to have a accent color on the inside. Ordered a Decoart pen from Hobby Lobby and dyed the stitching red

Decided after a few weeks that I would give the whole Plasti-dipping my rims idea a go. Cheap mod for a drastic appearance change to the camaro in about an hour or so. I decided instead of taking the rims off and spraying them, I would just put index cards in between the rims and tire and cover the breaks like a lot of members have done and spray them that way. It came out better than i expected. About two week after I did this and sunk a nail into my rear passenger wheel and when I brought it to the shop and got it back I had to re spray the entire wheel again. Wish i didnt have to but it didnt take long. Guess I was being lazy lol

Last week I got my K&N CAI. It was my first "real mod" i guess lol so i was pretty excited to swap out the stock intake for this. Took me about 30-45 mins to put this on. Gives the car a nice little rumble. Took it around the block for a test run after and had a grin on my face after hearing the difference. Had no CEL or issues with this model. It was very easy to install and recommend the K&N brand to anyone who's looking to give their v6 camaro a little more punch and sound compared to their stock box. Plus the shiny intake tube looks quite nice in the engine bay dressing it up a little more
Heres a few pics, of the install

Certainly liking how my engine bay looks now with some chrome.

Couple of days ago after looking at my rims i realized that the calipers had to change. I didnt like the look of them, I need to paint them. I was hung up on whether to go with red or blue. I orignally wanted them red because I figured I painted the engine cover, fuse box, and stitching on the car might as well paint the calipers red to. Did some quick photoshop and really didnt like in my opinion how the red look agasint the Cyber Grey Metallic. I ended up choosing blue instead.

Comparing the colors side by side

And this came in the mail today so I should be painting the calipers in a week or so. Once completed I will post some pic
