ABM vs. CGM - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I do understand this is a personal choice.

I have seen CGM on many Corvettes and very impressed with how it looks but, once we saw the ABM in photos it appeared to have more "flip flop" of paint with a nice shade of blue. CGM seems to be alittle more stealthy.. In person people state that the ABM is more teal yet very nice. Those that have seen these cars in person and/or know what I am talking about let me know which color you like better.

Honestly, there just isn't a bad color for this car. CGM is awesome. It reminds me of my 4th gen but slightly darker.

CGM over ABM but IBM over both anyday

I just came back from Disney World and saw the ABM at Epcot. Wow...that color was NICE! I picked CGM though...and only because I haven't seen ABM outside under "normal lighting conditions."

You can't go wrong with either!

Back when I had only seen the Cyber Gray color on a Traverse, I wasn't that thrilled with it. But after seeing the color in photos some of our members have provided of their new Camaros, I've got to tell you, I think that color REALLY works great on these cars!

As far as the Aqua Blue goes, it is a good looking color as well. The only thing I wonder is whether or not I'd get tired of it after awhile? That's why I didn't go with it.

I am getting Black, but the Aqua was going to be my second choice...that was until I saw the Cyber Gray Camaros. I'm still getting Black, but that Cyber Gray really has piqued my intrest!!!

I know what you're talking about though. I love that stealthy look.

all the colors do look nice. The problem is there isnt any out there to actually see in person. I mean I had to go off color swatches and pictures which everybody knows doesnt do a car justice. So I went black to be safe. If I could have seen it in person wi would have thought about CGM or IOM.

ABM was my second choice but i went with Summit White.

id say cgm over abm!! but i would have taken jet stream blue over both had they offered it!

ABM because IMO it is stunning on the car. my first choice was IOM, but seeing ABM on a camaro, it was for me. (my wife's H3 has stealth gray/ aka CGM).for me. this car had to have a metallic color though so yellow,black red and white were out for me.

CGM is HOT to trot.....it's my color of choice and I mainly picked it over black because I don't want to be obsessive compulsive of keeping black looking perfect....if you've owned one, you know what I'm talking about.....from water spots, dirt, dust, dings, paint swirls....everything is noticeable!....So CGM it is....very nice!
