I let my wife drive it and the first time out she backed into someone in a parking lot.

If you let someone drive it you might warn them about the poor visibility - especially if they're not used to using mirrors.

I let my dad drive it half way home after pulling it off the lot. I barely knew what I was doing with the M6 and I decided half way home to let him take over.

I also let two of my friends drive it. One of them, who was not very experienced, I took to a parking lot and let him do some starts and stops. The other friend drove it like he stole it.

I've got a coworker who has been asking a lot of questions about the car and has asked if I'd give him a ride. I figure I'll let him drive it himself.

I love driving this car but I also greatly enjoy being a passenger in it. Call me crazy.

I have let one of my friends drive my car. He is a police officer who is stuck with a Charger. Needless to say, he is loving the Camaro and bugging the wife already!

Lets see, my neighbor drove the car when I first got it. Since he takes his mini cooper to the track, he was able to show me a thing or two.

My dad drove it on our trip down to Florida

Camaro 5 member Efpardo drove it

today my friend Steve drove it as he wanted to learn how to drive stick shift.
Yes I let someone learn to drive stick on my camaro.

My husband has drove it mybe 3 times in 8 months. And I have to let him drive it because he bought it for me. That's the only reason why.

BUT

The only person I would trust driving my car without me sitting shot gun would be my father.
Ditto here. Since I have the M6 not many people I know actually know how to drive it .

So far my father, step-father, and one of my close friends at work have driven her.

I wouldn't trust anyone but my father and step-father to drive her when I am not in the car however.

I have offered to let my wife and stepdaughter drive it. They were both too afraid to. Maybe because I just got it.

There's another thread about this, so I'm not going to make the list again here. But the answer is yes, I'm not a selfish person...I've let others drive it. It's kind of fun to see their expressions when they realize that you trust them...and of course their smiles which are impossible for them to contain.

I barely let my wife drive it to the store let alone anyone else... I bought the car with part of the intent to eventually give it to my 11 year old son when he turns 16...

He may not get a chance until then...

NO, the Rev limiter is not set to 118MPH... and YES, driving in this manner does affect MPG...

I like to be the cool dad and let my in-college daughter and son drive it. Of course I'm a little nervous when they take it (but try not to show it). Fortunately, they are away at school most of the time. Just took my 16-year-old daughter for her first drive with her learners permit in the Camaro a few weeks ago. I told her she'll always remember her first time driving - cool car makes it more special. Mine was a '71 Nova ... almost took out the mailbox turning into the driveway ... found the brake pedal just in time. LOL! My wife has no desire to drive it ... she doesn't understand.

I have offered once but she declined. Only one other has asked and I wasn't comfortable with her driving it. If certain friends asked, I would let them.
