Just a little. That or in it with the manual going through all the options and studying up on PTM 1 through 5 etc etc

Like the tint. Where did you get it done, what % and how much? That's one of my first Mods

On a good note, according to this article the sales tax goes away too!

Now if I am doing a trade in do I pay 7% on the difference (like I do today) or 7% on just the new car price? That could be a big number

Haha I don't blame you. That's what I did the entire first and second weekend I had my 45th. So much to play with and I only had half the gadgets you have now! haha

I got it done at a shop here in statesboro. 20% tint and it was Llumar tint with a lifetime warranty. $210 without tax. So I came out around $250.

One thing they didn't do was the rear brake light. They didn't tint over that are on the back windshield. So i think I might custom cut a sticker and fit it over that area. Not sure what I want yet.

1. 20% is illegal yes? I'd hate to get a fix it ticket and have to rip my tint off.
2. IMO, for safety reasons, I'd say leave the tint off the brake light. They do that so people behind you can see it. With our brakes as good as they are.. we need all the notification we can give average joe in his pickup that we're stopping. We don't want him eating our lunch.

that being said.. I have considered tinting my tails.. but.. not so much that they become difficult to see.

Yeah 35% is the legal limit, so 20% is a ways down. The common percentages usually go by 50%, 35%, 20%, and 5%. However, since I don't live in Atlanta itself, I'm not worried. In the picture you can see a lexus and a g35 parked next to me at school, those are some of my buddies and they also have 20%. They haven't had problems so I'm not worried in Statesboro.
If I lived in Atlanta, I would have gone with legal tint.

The general advice has been to roll down my windows when I see cops.

And good point, I'll probably leave that strip alone. And If I do put a sticker over it, it'll have a way to to show light through.

Yeah Chip when driving keep both fingers on the window buttons! I have had 3 or 4 in the Mustang ranging from $50 to I think $300 for tint violations! So now i ride with fingers on the buttons! Or ride with them half way down! As long as they can see the top of your head youll be ok!
I went 20% on rear window and 2 small side ones and 31% on 2 front ones!

Haha very good advice there Scott! I'll be sure to be careful!

Sounds like the mustang has given you trouble! Probably cause the tint stands out so much from the grey/silver body color.

Yeah the mustang has 5% all the way around! My highest tickets have come from those small rinky dink towns on back roads where there is nothing!

Wow that's impressive to have no tickets for that long!
Do you have your front windshield tinted? It looked like it was at HPS.

Wow that's really dark!!! No wonder you have so many tickets.

Hopefully I don't get screwed over by a small town like that! :(

Hmmmm, I'd really like to take another look at your windshield sometime, and if you don't mind I'd like to sit in the driver's seat and see what its like looking out the windshield to get a good idea. I know 35% will look better but I don't want it to be too dark.

Ok didn't break the 400rwhp mark yet. I ran only 3psi's and no Meth just pump gas for all 3 runs. I ran 380rwhp/245rwtq and the AFR's were terrible. So after I send in my datalog I should be seeing good torque and a smoother run. All 3 were done in 4th gear also. But the next time I will be running 5-6psi's and the Meth.
