Question about seat air bags.
I want to buy another set of Camaro seats and the one driver side seat air bag was deployed and they sown the seat back up so you cannot tell.
My question is, if I install these seats into my camaro and plug the seats in, will that throw a code into the computer if it doesnt see the air bag in the seat?

Yes and your airbag light will stay on.

And it will only throw a code if the seller didn't put a new airbag in (assuming you're buying the whole seat assembly). |

Yes, I am buying another complete set of seats.
Maybe what I could do is pull off the cover from the blown air bag seat and recover the seat from my camaro. The 2013 seats should be the same as the 2010 right?

Correct. Though the 2013 passenger seat is powered - so you'll need some parts/harnesses if you're wanting to retrofit that feature.

My current passenger seat is power already, it is the driverside that I have to work on. I will switch the cover on the drivers seat and I think I will be good to go.
