My only check valve keeps the manifold line from the top of the intake from pressurizing the can. so my valve is on the can. can flow away from the can in a vacuum situation, but under boost when pressure builds in the intake it shuts off and keeps the boost pressure from going back into can.

Send a message via AIM to gutterball
I have just the opposite, Passenger side to MMcc to manifold, Drivers side to another cc to intake tube.

Ok. I'll have to pick up a check valve to add into the line since I already ordered the can. I'll just add one in line before the can between the intake plenum port (one that's currently blocked off) and the can. thanks for all your input.im sure I'll come up with other questions... I'm going to post one more diagram up once I get it all layed out before I do it.

Go with the MM or same type PVC check valve. I have had others that just failed after a few weeks. I have the passenger side to mm catchcan with their PVC check valve on the vacuum side leading to the intake vacuum port. On the drivers side I have the back port capped and a 1le separator on the oil fill port that is ported to the inlet after the MAF.

Almost nothing since it is designed to drain back into the engine. This is the clean side so the air flow should be going into the engine most of the time. If I check the tubing going back to the air inlet there is no residue so it seems to be doing the job very well.

The clean side will only push oil out when at WOT on NA cars, the intake manifold isn't on a vacuum so it doesn't suck the blowby out. On FI cars it is a different story, both sides will push out since the amount of blowby is greater unless you have the crankcase under a vacuum.

If you want to see if you have enough evac on your dirty side under boost, check the spark plug tube. Remove the coil plugs and see if there is oil in there. Mine did when I was trying different setups.

If im installing a catchcan from passenger crankcase to sc inlet, does that catchcan need any check valves?

Thanks in advance

Only if the catch can will be hooked up to the intake manifold.
