i think he was talking above the cost of the car. ain't that the way Lingenfelter and Callaway do it? you buy the car, have it sent to them, they hop it up, you pay them & enjoy

But that's just a shot in the dark...

On a side note, were you at the Freedom Chevrolet "car show" they had a few weekends back? That's where I ordered my 2SS from and the sales guy (Ruben) said they were going to have a show with older Camaro's as well as other vehicles there, and when I showed up there were only two 4th Gen camaro's and a bunch of on-the-lot Corvette's with prices on the windshields.
I'm just brainstorming on the warranty issue. I really want that cam swap, but want to keep it under warranty. If they'll do it, I'll pay for the upgrade. Charging, if you think about it, isn't all that different from charging GM, or charging someone else who agrees to pay for it. Instead of sending the bill to one person, you send it to another.

Didn't go to Freedom Chevrolet. Their prices always seemed to be up there with all the work. Take, for example, a fully synthetic oil change. Ancira does it for $55 and Freedom charges $80. Call'em...I wanted to go to Freedom since it saves me about 20-25min round trip in driving. But, for $25, it's worth the drive.

Man, all I'm saying is those wheels are MINE. I'd took that hood too but the mailslot on my SS would kinda kill it.

Looks really good in your signature! Best set of wheels I've seen yet that compliments the LPO gas filler door!

I'm tired of people bitching about not wanting their warranties to be voided.

You're buying a PERFORMANCE car. Shit WILL break. Have fun, upgrade it, and get over the warranty issue.

I can relate. I'm going to put one summer one my virgin car and then pop that hot cam in and screw the warranty.

Thanks man! Although the wheels in my sig pic are Torq-Thrust M's with staggered diameters (18" up front, 20" out back). The Nickey wheel photos are too blurry for me to PS on my Camaro sig or else I would, but they look awesome and I can't wait to see them in person.

Who knows.

I'll try and get used to driving a 400hp sports car before I start doing any upgrades. My 95 Blazer has just shy of 200hp so it'll be a learning experience.
