Roto-Fab ZL1 CAI

Hey folks, we have been getting alot of calls and questions in regards to our CAI lately. So I figured it's time to post a little information about our intake system. The most frequently asked question is why don't we use a lid. Well, the answer is simple. We designed our airbox to effectively seal to the hood. We chose to go this route because we wanted to maximize the volume around the air filter. Our molded inlet tubes provide a short smooth path to allow the air to flow with less restriction. The Roto-Fab intake system requires absolutely NO cutting, drilling or modifications to your vehicle or it's components. Another perk with the Roto-Fab CAI is the endless array of options we offer. Make your engine bay stand out in the crowd with our color matched airboxes, polished stainless or carbon fiber finish tubes and colored hose couplers. (available in red and yellow) We are currently having a Memorial day/Summer kickoff sale. Contact us or one of the many reputable forum dealers for more details!!! Now for some pics!!

Thanks,
Jeremiah

This a great first mod for anybody. It was easy to install (45 minutes), it looks great, sounds great and really sets you back in your seat. An extra 25-30 RWHP for $375.00? A no brainer. Thank you Roto-Fab!

The Roto-fab ZL1 CAI I installed was a very clean install. The instructions supplied with the kit were very detailed along with pictures. Every step of the process was explained. Everything needed to install was supplied, and the kit was very well thought out and manufactured to a high material standard. It's a top shelf product no doubt. I am very pleased!

The Roto Fab is an amazing intake. If you're like me and neglected to clean the underside of your hood, you can see how well it seals off the hood without needing a lid. Very distinct L shape on the underside of my hood showed that it was doing it's job.

Oh, the whine. THAT WHINE. Sounds amazing.

Love the entire package intake ww relocation and big gulp. Now get to work on our larger capacity inter cooler reservoir that works with all of it.

Seriously nice product and thank for your commitment to the ZL1

Let me first say I think the root-fab is a good looking kit but I can't help but question the dyno numbers. Was the hood up during the dyno runs? I know Torq posted a video of their hp gains with the CAI and it was with the hood up. Obviously an open air filter will do better with the hood up.

Im on the fence about adding a CAI...if such a simple, relatively inexpensive mod can make a 20-30 HP difference why wouldnt GM do it as part of the stock build (at a minimum it would permit the company to avertise 600 HP)...seems to good to be true

What am I missing here?
