I am not one that likes modding the engine from the way it comes from the factoryin fear one of these could end up doing more harm than good. Putting the catch can on was even a struggle for me. I don't have a breather on mine because I still have the stock intake setup.

Yes....the tiny holes get restricted from gunk buildup over time.

After talking to Tracy and cleaning/expanding the holes - I would recommend to ANYONE that checking this every other oil change is a good idea. You can easily clean it out with brake cleaner.

What is the purpose of that barb? Is it a check valve type thing or is it just a thing used to connect the tube with the valve cover? I just want to knowits true purpose and if drilling out the holes won't affect something else like letting even more oil through to the catch can.

Is the location the same on the LLT. Can someone post a pic of it on the LLT?

Same location. The purpose is to restrict the flow to slow oil ingestion....but the side effect is they are to easy to clog when so tiny.

So you will probably get more oil in the catch can when you enlarge the ports on this.

Depending on the amount of blow-by and how well your rings sealed you sure could.

Depending on the amount of blow-by and how well your rings sealed you sure could. If left alone the pressure, and the oil with it will back-flow through the cleanside into your intake air charge if the OEM clean side is left intact.

The clean side refers to the driver's side. There is a fitting on the back of the driver's side valve cover with a hose attached that runs from there to your intake.
