Where did you buy the "complete installation kit" if that is indeed what it is, and I mean including ALL oem gaskets, bolts.
I'm shopping around just curious on your pricing, I'm doing it myself as well. |

Lethal Racing from Louisiana has a website and sells cam kits with all the bolts and gaskets, etc.

The vendor who spec'd me my cam does as well. Just curious what the OP elected to go with. I like to shop around, this is what I use the internet mainly for, and that is rock bottom pricing. Competition in the car part world is fierce, and I take advantage of that, hence my persistent questioning . |

Thank you on Ivan btw!
Which Cam installation procedure will you be using as main reference or are you a seasoned mechanic? I'll be using a particular YouTube install and the Cam Install DIY we have on this forum as well, but I'm liking that YouTube clip more and more for speed, lol. Are you installing upgraded oil pump and/or timing chain, or keeping those stock? I'm keeping mine stock. |

I would rather leave both alone happily "married" together in their original form. If upgrading one, then I would do the other. My research as far as forum stats are concerned, seem to lead me to believe that problems arise in the medium to long haul, when original part is forcefully married to an aftermarket upgraded part. Sure one may argue "forum stats" mean nothing, but my methods have never failed me, I've never lost an engine in my life, so I'm sticking to my gut feeling and game plan here. Sure the best thing is to just upgrade everything in sight, but some if us do have multiple kids, mortgage, school, taxes, debts, etc, to pay, in case I'm coming across as a cheap skate. |
