As the title states, what have you guys found to be the "best" electric corded impact gun for general use? I am not a professional constant user and I am on a budget. I will pay for quality but I dont need a $500 piece. Any ideas? I tried checking out the usual stores but couldnt find anything that looked good.

I bought the craftsman one, I think it was $150 and has no issues with Camaro lug nuts.
Kobalt makes one that is ~$120 that is good for the price also.

If you want cordless go with this one. Only rub is you have to buy batteries and charger separately. I have it and it works great.

I just picked up the craftsman mechanics set a drill and impactand charger on combo lithium batteries and charger for 200 its on sale

I used the one from harbor frieght and haven't looked back since best 50 bucks I ever spent.

I have the dewalt 18V cordless 1/2 impact and it works great. At the minimum you can take all 4 wheels off of a vehicle rotate them, and then do all over again a second time on one battery.

I got mine 3 years ago for around $230 but that model now retails for about $175 to $150

Id recommend the Craftsman 19.2v lithium ion (if you want to spend the lil extra for a better battery) I used the NiCad daily for roughly 2 yrs before it started dying out.

Im a mechanic and use the craftsman 19.2 1/2 Impact, 1/4 Impact driver and drill daily and i love em. Sure the snapon Matco and dewalt guns are better but not in the bang for the buck category. I use the 1/2 impact on road calls and can easily change a 8 lug tire torqued to 140lbs and have plenty left. Have rotated all 4 tires on 2 vehicles without a recharge. Even craftsman lil set is amazing i forget the voltage off hand but they are the little grey ones.
