What would you change on ZL1?

Hello....

Just curious what people wanted to change on their Zl1:

1) Leds lights in taillamp and headlamps
2)Interior...not a fan of the retro look...where is the Navi 8in screen?

....

Cant wait for the beast...haha

I am looking to get the 2013 Vert, so I hope there will be some new colors! Other than that maybe a GM performance exhaust if the stock is too quiet? I really can't think of anything else GM performance goodies are always a plus.

I imagine many things will be similar as what people would change on the SS/LT models.

Here's my thoughts, though....if you change too much, take the low roof-line, for instance...then it looses much of its "spunk" and cool-factor. Some of the compromises of this car are what make it great!

Having said that....it's a great thing that the Camaro is the most "mod-able" car in seemingly, the world. My short list of modifications include LED tail lights, a little tighter suspension, and some stickier rubber.

Needs an 8" Nav system in my humble opinion. Small thing but I love mine that I installed in my truck and the back up camera is so much better.

Only thing i really don't like is the suede inserts on the seats. It should have been an option with the suede pkg IMO. Last thing i need to be doing is using a lint roller on my ZL1 seats.

I don't like the front bumper lower lip in flat black. That section would look better painted to match the body color imo.

Recaro seat option. But who knows, maybe they will come out with it later. I will own them.

Just nav system/infotainment, but again this is a muscle car so I just need a radio that connects to my iPod

lighter car. done.

the nav does not bother because factory nav is horribly overpriced and you can't enter destinations wile moving.

$700 and nav will in the ZL1. the factory option would be twice that and worse.

our dodge has sued inserts in the back of the seat and they have held up better great.

Real navi, real blue, track seats (Recaro),more HP,more carbon fiber(roof),hideaway head lights, lose the bowtie on the steering wheel, optional color calipers, cross drill/slotted rotors. That's for starters.

Weight and front facia. I'd lose all the extra lights and I agree about the black part. Don't like it.

We have the GM nav system in a 2011 Tahoe. It's a pain in the ass to use as a Nav system and a radio. The maps suck to look at. It's a pain to enter stuff into it. The dvd in there makes sounds like a bunch of yipper dogs are barking in the distance. Searching radio stations or through my ipod is a lengthy pain in the ass process. It will get you there but I'll take my Garmin over it anyday.
