In Missouri, 35% is legal on the front 3 windows. Behind that, windows can be painted for all the law cares. There is no restriction on windows behind the first row of seats.

what was your reasoning as to doing 2%... just wondering. it seems like it would make things more complicated and more of a hassle than anything. just wondering lol.

Ive been putting 5% on my windows for the last 15 years.if i see a cop pulling up i just roll them down.never been harrassed or even questioned about it,EVER.but it does sound like if you live in NH,your screwed.

who's right here?

well, the main thing law-wise for restricting tint is cus if a cop comes up to a car with 5% tint all around that is stolen, or whatever, and the cop cant see inside the car to check the occupants actions, they cant see if the occupant pulls a gun, or has a weapon.

my hummer currently has 15% on the front 2 and limo tint on the rear(basically less than 5%)

Can someone post examples of what different tint levels look like on a car. I see minvans, suvs, and trucks on the road with what looks like factory tint on their rear window and rear side windows, what % are most of those?

Any pics with corresponding %s would be great. thanks everybody

Well first off, i thought it was only 5%(LIMO) but it came out to 2% and i did it just for the look, dark windows make anything look good plus in Arizona it's so bright out its horrible without it, not to mention how much cooler it is in the truck with the tint

That is why I also want to have black windows, in the summer, it isn't THAT hot but it's better than the car being burning hot..the seats...I HATE THAT!
