North Star is my dealer of choice. I've had the best purchase experience of my life there.

Hey guys.. finally got a bike.!!
Its exactly what i wanted.. its the the Kawasaki ninja ex 250R special edition with around 3,500 miles on it.
I will be mainly using it from home to work and then to gym in robinson which does not involve any highway and gives me 60+ MPG.. plus it will have the unique green color on the streets ...insurance is almost half compared to most 600cc bikes... and like Travis said i can park for free under the bridge in downtown so no more paying for parking every day to work.!! When i am ready i can sell it for exactly what i paid to get it and get a bigger bike.. dont have a license yet but got it registered and brought it home yesterday
yeeiii

The chain looks to be partially rusty. Wire brush it and keep it lubed. Your interest is in keeping the O-rings lubed and the chain rust free.

Go get a filter and motorcycle specific oil and do a change. Do not use automotive oil unless it's an emergency, it can cause clutch failure.

So examined rockers, pushrods, and valve ends. Drained and strained oil, and cut open filter. Everything looks pretty good, so I ordered some brian tooley springs and will reassemble everything and hope for the best!

The one near the cat, bank 1 probe 2 has been replaced 5 times in the last year. Initially i went to Autozone and got a Bosch replacement that in a couple days tripped the cel light. I went back and they did a warranty exchange on it that again tripped the cel light in under three days.

Then after some research i read that Bosch suck and that a Denso or factory GM (made by Denso for GM) so i ordered a Denso from Napa and it lasted under a week. Next (a couple weeks ago) we ordered a GM probe from Rock Auto and it lasted two days, tripping the light on day two.

I have recorded probes, all three but am not sure what I'm looking at other than that they are fluctuating in voltages.

Bank Two, probe one.

Bank one, probe 1.

And the probe from Napa, the Denso.

And just after installing the new GM probe from Rock Auto.

Attachment 494995

Now, can anyone tell me why i can not get this stupid thing with 69,000 miles on it to stop throwing this dang code? Can the cat be beginning to restrict and cause it, and if so, can i bust out the cat without causing another code to trip?

This is my code I am getting.

Give someone with hptuners 150bucks to turn off cat efficiency codes and sensors 2 codes and never worry about it again. Ive been having cars passed without cats since 06.

What is this HP Tuners? This sounds like it is similar to EFI Live?

I looked at that website, pretty neat.

Back to my Camaro, when cold i have that 2nd gear grind. Last night my wife/kids and i went for ice cream (Hank's Frozen Custard) and got the car good and warm with a couple jumps to 120 and a few miles. Then i did i full on drag strip style first to second gear shift and it was perfect.

So, cold, 2nd gear sucks. Warmed up, 2nd gear is fine.
