To Spoil(er) or not to spoil(er)

When I ordered my car I was on the mind that I absolutely did not want a spoiler to ruin the lines of my car. Now that I've seen a few with, I'm conflicted cause it's dead sexy.

Thoughts from both sides please (with/without)?

You'll have to get the RS package to get the spoiler, among other things that come in the package, like the halo lights, etc. I think it adds style to the car, and beafs it up. Again that's MY opinion.

I'm not sure what color you ordered/ordering, but check the individual color threads in the PICs section, and find the LT models and get different angles of the cars. You have lots of pics to choose from, with everyone posting they're new arrivals in those "color" sections.

+2 for the RS pkg. Love the HID lights. The car just looks so mean from the front.

IOM w/painted on gloss black rallies.

There are some spoilers right now on Ebay for about $259 painted and shipped to your house with the mounting hardware and full instructions....very easy to do if you have basic tools,

I tried to get GM to offer a spoiler delete option for the RS and SS models because the spoiler hides some important body lines. There is a body line on the trunk lid which accentuates the quarter panels and also has a bit of C6 Corvette in it. The spoiler makes all that disappear.

If you want your car to be rare, don't get the spoiler - a little birdie told me that all cars may soon get the spoiler because the 2010 Camaro actually gets better gas mileage with them. If the spoiler does become standard next year, then all the current no spoiler cars will always look unique.

I was told by my dealer that he can install the spoiler after he gets it, same with the HID lights. I clearly didn't do enough research on packages before I bought, I guess I'll pay for it in the end, somehow, but I REALLY like the HID now as well!

Thanks for everyones input, at least I still have the option to get them added if I desire.

If you order the RS package, it's the factory that installs the spoiler and the HID lights.
