Got back from the track
And lets just say I am pretty disappointed to the performance of my L99, though it may be due to not hooking up at all the first 60 feet.
Best time (had 8 runs): Reaction Time: .020 1/4 Miles: 13.731 Average time on everything was 13.93 out of the 8 runs. Maybe if I can hook up I can get down in the low 13s as promised.

Check this site and post up your DA... Your run sounds about like the 14 sec runs we are having down here in the heat of TX

Post up your 60' times...reaction times don't matter. Every 0.1 second reduction in 60' time is usually worth 0.2 second reduction in 1/4 mile time (on average).

Yeah, give us some more information. What were the conditions like (Density Altitude)? What was your 60' time, trap speed? Your 13.7 could very well be a low 13 sec run when corrected for DA. Don't forget your running your car in the summer. 13.7 in the summer is actually a pretty decent time. |

Dunno..hearing some horror stories about output shafts, CVs, etc breaking once the power has been transferred to the rear wheels..

Haven't heard that from the L99 A6 guys. I've been reading some of that coming from the LS3 M6 guys. The M6 (drop clutch) launch is most likely the cause. But it sounds like a weak link that will need to be looked at. |

It's ALL about the 60' time. You didn't post it. Kinda of important info.

so your dissapointed in the performance, say it 60' was crap and then don't post the 60' time??? wow
besides the fact that if it did 60' like ass and you raced in heat/humidity, 13.7 is pretty good and what it should run.

Yeah, you can drop another 2-3 tenths in the quarter with a better 60 foot.
