MY1STCAMAR0 - (BRM) 2SS/RS 1LE BUILD/JOURNAL THREAD
Ok. Hellooooooooo Camaro5. So my name "MY1STCAMAR0" I'm an active duty Marine based out of Quantico, VA. Yes my forum name is in fact alittle bit misleading. This will be my 4th, 5th Gen Camaro. Yes, I'm very indecisive, But I believe I found my last 5th Gen until the 6th Gen rolls around. Even though this is considered my 4th Camaro, this is the 1st Journal and I plan on making this a very informative when I start to add modifications.
I just want to say this is a long time coming as I purchased a Summit White 2SS/RS 1LE on 20 December and should have expected delivery on 26 December. A buyers order was completed and I'm still currently going through issues with that particular dealer as it was never delivered as promised. If you wish to read what has happened and currently going on, read here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=267723 During my unfornate situation I've been talking with BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet and Casey Chevrolet, located in Newport News, VA. I almost pulled the trigger by accepting an order from BeckyD but today I walked away, with a Blue Ray Metallic (BRM) 2013 2SS/RS 1LE with 24 miles from Casey Chevrolet! I was currently visiting family in the Hampton Roads and did a search to see if there were any 1LE's in the area. Well there was one, so I stopped by to see how the BRM looked in person. I was amazed and honestly suprised. The color is amazing. The process was painful and just a better overall experience then what I have gone through since 20 December. 2013 2SS/RS 1LE "Blu-ray Metallic" Options: SS Performance Package RS Package Dual Mode Exhaust Mylink with Navagation Sunroof All-weather mats Mod Plans: NPP Fuse pull (done) ECM low octane fuel fuse pull Window Tint (5-20%) 10'' Kicker Sub/Amp Install AAC License plate LEDs (done) AAC Interior ABL Lights AAC ABL Footwell lighting AAC SMD Sidemarkers Lite-Right DRL PSX26W 5K Temp Bulbs (done) DRL Harness (done) SLP Skip Shift Eliminator Apex black gorilla lug nuts SSTG Hash Marks Driver side ONLY (Red with silver pinstriping) Heritage Grille (painted satin black) ZL1/Hot Wheels/Dusk Edition rockers (painted to match) Pdaft lowering springs Long tube headers CAI TVS and many more... UPDATE: 1/4/2013 For those interested, i just made a DIY/How-to for the fuse pull for those members equipped with the NPP (dual-mode exhaust). Hopefully this clears up some confusion on what fuse it is and how to do it. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...95#post5988195 LIST OF THANK YOUS: Scott Gregoire Sales & Leasing Consultant Casey Chevrolet 11700 Jefferson Ave Newport News, VA 23606 (757)591-1100 Becky D Sales & Leasing Consultant Rodgers Chevrolet Woodhaven, MI (734)479-7117 Here are a few pics before I left the lot of my 2010 2SS/RS and the 2013 2SS/RS 1LE on 1/2/2013 at Casey Chevrolet in Newport News, VA. Its pretty damn cold outside today, in Northern VA. Figured why not start the modding process! I did the NPP fuse pull and took a some pictures of the stock engine bay. I will be writing up a DIY on the NPP Fuse pull as I haven't seen one yet so it should eliminate any confusion that people are having as to what fuse to pull and where. It took about 15-20mins to put the carpet back and screw the plastic rivets back in.
