I don't think NB it's limited to any model year. All MY Camaros have that plastic bearing, so if you push your car, chances are it will go bad.

Hey everyone, I am looking to replace my 2010 V6 clutch now, I am at 97K and starting to notice it wont go into gear easily just like driving a 1979 Peterbuilt lol. Using 4th gear to align syncros to get to 1st.
But I wanted to share my thoughts, (facts) the clutches are designed to fail from factory. This helps keep warranty costs down. Think about it, if you had the best clutch in the world you would be breaking more expensive parts which the factory does not want to replace under warranty. |

No clutch is designed to "fail" from the factory. There are lots of things that can go wrong with a clutch system - most of it is either induced by heat from track-use/abuse, or user error in the form of not REALLY knowing how to drive stick (while many people can get a car with 3 pedals to move, in my experience, there are very few people who actually know the proper way to drive a manual).
Treat it correctly and a factory clutch will last you a quarter of a million miles or more. Abuse it, and it can go out in 10 miles.
