At 22,750 miles, the heater core started leaking. Dealership had my car for 4 days to replace the heater core (which involved replacing the windshield and taking apart the dash).
It's all better now

USB HDMI is a POS. Having to wait for them to even have time to look at it, let alone order a new one for it. Didnt they use one and put it thru a bunch of QA and test drive the crap out of it before selling it like crazy?

My tachometer quit working at about 3000 miles...took it to the dealer, they replaced the whole gauge cluster. No other issues!

steering wheel
The leather cracked on the first and second steering wheels, waiting for third. everything else is great. Except my iphone is having trouble connecting to stereo. I ran an update on the phone and thats when it started. apple store said its a radio issue and the dealer said its an apple issue.

Nothing so far. The only issue was corrected by PCM fuse reset.

Acceleration, Stalling
2011 Camaro LS automatic.
Brought her home Saturday 11/25/2010. Still peeling off factory protective stickers as I find them. Beautiful test drive... the salesman drove it to my house and I drove it back to the dealership as we negotiated price. Problem?: Really crappy acceleration - so what if its the base model? Any lemon on the road should be able get to 20mph from 17mph without the driver having to make an actual mental investment! Stalled twice - at two red lights. Took foot off brakes - nothing. Looked down to check if I accidentally shifted to neutral or something - nope. I was still in drive. No resolution yet...taking it back to dealership tomorrow. Kinda sucks though. I've driven everything under the sun in my 13 years of driving and never had a problem like this. Never would've expected it from a new vehicle.... at least not this one |

i know it's not a v8. sorry, budget's tight. but still, should i EXPECT these kinds of issues? at least with the acceleration, i know that the engine is working with a computer and there's a bit of a delay - from a slow cruise or almost stationery, i give it gas, she drops a gear and then leaps. but the stalling? i went by the dealership today and the service manager is stumped. he drove it and it happened to him. they're checking all the wiring, they suppose its something electrical. i suppose i should be asking for another car? |
